30 May 2021, 9am-2pm, North Lake Campus Kardinya.
The assemblies are open to all Rotarians, and provide a great opportunity to learn, network and have some fun! Registration via the District website (https://rotary9465.org.au/events) is essential for insurance and catering purposes. Please note any dietary requirements in the comments.

Are you in Year 11 and love science, technology engineering and math (STEM) subjects? Then you should consider applying for the National Youth Science Forum’s 2022 Year 12 Program!

The @NYSFoz is a digital and in-person program that will provide year 12 students with an immersive and interactive experience in various #STEM fields! It'll let you get stuck into some serious science and meet industry mentors, all while connecting with a community of science-loving students, just like you!

What is RYPEN?

​RYPEN stands for Rotary Youth Programme of Enrichment which through a weekend live in seminar, aims to create in young adults an awareness of their place in and responsibility towards, society. Participants are sponsored and paid for by the many Rotary Clubs within District 9465 who see RYPEN as a great opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to youth in their community.   

Who Should Apply?

Young people, 14-17, who have not had any experience in leadership positions and would benefit from a structured learning program focused on confidence building and having exposure to introductory  leadership training.

Applications for the 2022 Rotary Peace Fellowships are now being accepted.  
If your club knows of someone who would make an excellent Rotary Peace Fellow, please make them aware of this program.
The Fellowship is fully funded, covering tuition and living costs.
Completed applications need to be sent to the District Foundations Committee before 15 May 2021.

Shelterbox Trek for Shelter 2021
We are excited to announce Trek for Shelter and our goal to raise $250,000
Trek the legendary Larapinta Trail in the Australian Outback, the dense rainforest of Cradle Mountain, the spectacular coastlines in Western Australia or challenge yourself with the Kokoda trail. Join one of these epic adventures and raise funds for ShelterBox Australia to assist families in crisis.
Our goal is to raise a quarter of a million dollars across our five adventures. This amount of money will provide 1,000 families with a ShelterKit (including tarps, tools and fixings) plus solar lights, a water filter and mosquito nets. Life-changing, life-saving aid, essential for disaster-affected communities to start their own recovery. We’re asking you to help us continue our efforts by joining one of our Trek for Shelter adventures today!
